Comprendiendo a tu caballo- Understanding your horse

Los caballos son como niños, aprenden progresivamente pero son esponjas, absorben todo lo que uno les enseña. Son seres muy sensibles, esta naturaleza los hará permeables para bien y mal. Son seres inocentes aun detrás de su tamaño y apariencia omnipotente, ellos se parecen más a un niño de 4 o 5 años en sus travesuras que a una bestia.Las caricias, mimos, el jugar con ellos son formas de conquistar su confianza. Por ello, creo que el mejor caballo es el que es comprendido por su jinete.
Los caballos nunca olvidan lo que aprenden por eso al terminar la doma hay que soltarlos a descansar al menos 6 meses.  Digo al menos porque en mi opinión mientras mas tiempo es mejor. En mi experiencia, he largado un caballo hasta 9 meses y al volver han sido tan efectivos como al soltarlos. Ahora hay algo que otro momento no veía como tan importante, pero dado a algunas malas experiencias con algunas lecciones, creo es de resaltar y es que a la vuelta del descanso los caballos no deben ser apurados o apretados para que no se produzcan lesiones, por el contrario deben ser llevados de apoco, con un ritmo parejo y progresivo con un tiempo no menor a las 2 semanas de trabajo solo al tranco, paulatinamente agregandoles intensidad. 

Horses are like children, they gradually learn but they are as sponges, absorbing everything you teach. They are very sensitive beings, this nature will make them permeable for good and evil. They are innocent even after its size and powerful appearance, they are more like a naughty 4 or 5 years child than beast. The touching, cuddling, and playing with them are ways of gaining their trust. For I believe that the best horse is the one that is understood by its rider.The horses never forget what they learn, that's why at the end of the taming process we must let them go to rest at least 6 months. I say at least because I think the longer the better. In my experience, I have given up to 9 months of rest and the horse came as effective as when released. Now there's something other times not seen as so important, but due to some bad experiences with some lessons, I think we should highlight is that the work around the horses should not be rushed or crowded so as not to cause any injuries. On the contrary, it should be brought in little by little, with a steady and progressive rate with a time of not less than 2 weeks of work just to pace, gradually adding intensity.
